FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the petroleum industry, particularly, to a technology for measurement of longitudinal vibrations transmitted along a drill string during vertical seismic profile shooting during geophysical operations. The technical result is achieved by an apparatus for measuring vibration of a downhole tool, including a hydromechanical vibration sensor installed in the drill string assembly, containing a body, a socket, a barrel, an adjusting sleeve and sealing rings, being additionally equipped with an inductive-type magnetoelastic transducer made in form of a core with a coil made of a ferrimagnetic material and perceiving the mechanical impact of the barrel of the hydromechanical sensor via a magnetic core, and with an inductance meter receiving information about the value of vibration upon occurrence thereof.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of vibration measurement.
