FIELD: heaters.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heaters and is intended for the modernization of industrial heating boilers operating on diesel fuel and other liquid refined products under normal conditions, to ensure their operation on liquefied petroleum gas. The method for modernizing a heating boiler includes replacing its burner device for burning liquid under normal conditions oil fuel with a thermal device operating on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), while the thermal device has a high-pressure LPG inlet and a burner for burning gaseous fuel, the thermal device is configured to converting LPG into a gaseous state and supplying the obtained gas to the burner, the thermal device is made with the possibility of converting LPG into a gaseous state by heating at least part of the thermal device directly by the flame of the burner. Replacing a heating boiler burner with a heating device is reversible. The thermal device has dimensions that do not exceed the radial dimensions of the burner device, and the seats of the thermal device coincide with the seats of the burner device.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing environmental friendliness (reduce the amount of harmful emissions) and efficiency of boilers by converting them to LPG as a fuel, ensuring a decrease in the material consumption and labor intensity of the modernization of a heating boiler when it is converted to LPG as a fuel.
