FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of building finishing materials and concerns a multilayer composite floor, wall, panel or ceiling product. The product contains: a) a rigid substrate containing a rigid inner part having a first surface and an opposite second surface, wherein the rigid inner part contains at least one compacted fiber mixture, and wherein at least one compacted fiber mixture consists of a first set of oriented fibers having a first melting point and a second set of oriented fibers having a second melting point other than the first melting point, wherein the rigid inner part contains a first part having a first density, and a second part having a second density other than the first density, wherein the compacted fiber mixture has a density of at least 15 lbs./ft³ (240.3 kg/m³); and b) a decorative part having a first surface and an opposite second surface, wherein the second surface of the decorative part is attached to the first surface of the rigid inner part. The methods of manufacturing such products are disclosed.

EFFECT: invention provides for the manufacture of composite plates having one or more characteristics of high impact strength, heat resistance during swelling, fire resistance, dimensional stability, acceptable characteristics of a radiation heating panel and improved acoustic properties.
