FIELD: personal protection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bulletproof composite products characterized by improved resistance to deformation, as well as excellent resistance to the penetration of bullets and fragments. Bulletproof material comprises a first composite and a second composite. First composite comprises a plurality of non-woven fibrous formations, wherein said plurality of fibrous formations are bonded to form a monolithic structure, each of the fibrous formations comprising a plurality of unidirectional fibers, wherein said fibers are characterized by a specific strength of 7 g/denier or more and a modulus of elasticity of 150 g/denier or more; wherein the unidirectional fibers in each fiber sheet of the first composite are oriented so that their longitudinal direction is not parallel to the longitudinal direction of the fibers of each adjacent formation of said first composite. Second composite is attached to the first composite, wherein the second composite comprises a plurality of non-woven fibrous formations, wherein said plurality of fibrous formations are bonded to form a monolithic structure; each of the fibrous formations comprises a plurality of unidirectional fibers, wherein said fibers are characterized by a specific strength of 7 g/denier or more and a modulus of elasticity of 150 g/denier or more; wherein the unidirectional fibers in each fibrous formation of the second composite are oriented in such a way that their longitudinal direction is not parallel to the longitudinal direction of the fibers of each adjacent formation of said second composite. Longitudinal direction of the fibers in each formation of the first composite differs from the longitudinal direction of the fibers in each formation of the second composite. First composite is characterized by a surface density of at least about 100 g/m2, the second composite has a surface density of at least about 100 g/m2, and the value of the surface density of the first composite is more than 50 % of the total surface density of the first and second composites.
EFFECT: providing both excellent resistance to the penetration of bullets and fragments and low value of the depth of the print.
