SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protecting a rail vehicle from the actions of unauthorized persons. The rail vehicle (1) contains the vehicle control unit (8), which is connected to the traction switching device (9), which controls the traction components for the operation of the rail vehicle (1), the unit (8) is connected to the high voltage switching device (10), which controls the high voltage components for the operation of the rail vehicle (1), the rail vehicle (1) contains a lock (4.3) with controlled switches (4.3.1-4.3.4), the first switch (4.3.1) is connected between the vehicle control unit (8) and the traction switching device (9) in such a way that the traction components are controlled when the first switch is open (4.3.1) and performed when the first switch is closed (4.3.1), the second switch (4.3.2) is connected between the vehicle control unit (8) and the high voltage switching device (10) in such a way that control over the high voltage components is blocked when the second switch is open (4.3.2) and performed when the second switch is closed (4.3.2), in this case, to control the switches (4.3.1-4.3.4), the locking device (4.3) is connected to the switching device (4.1, 4.2), which is designed to close the switches (4.3.1-4.3.4) after authentication of an authorized person to ensure the possibility of appropriate control and, thus, the operation of the rail vehicle (1).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide comprehensive protection of the rail vehicle from unauthorized actions.
