FIELD: experimental hydromechanics.
SUBSTANCE: device relates to experimental hydromechanics, in particular to experimental stands designed to study the hydrodynamics of flow, in particular hydraulic resistances in vertical and inclined pipes. The stand contains a liquid tank, a system of liquid supply pipelines, there is an experimental pipe connected to a liquid tank equipped with a goniometer through a flexible hose and equipped with a drain funnel connected to the tank-level holder by an overflow pipe, an air pipe connecting the compressor and the experimental pipe through an air collector and capillaries equipped with clamps and connected to the experimental pipe. To measure the pressure losses of the two-phase flow in three sections of the experimental pipe, differential pressure gauges connected to the experimental pipe, a tank-level holder equipped with a measuring ruler, a shut-off valve and a measuring tank installed at the end of the overflow pipe, a pressure gauge for measuring air pressure in the air collector are installed, and the air pipe is equipped with an air flow sensor.
EFFECT: increase in the range of measured characteristics in the study of the hydrodynamics of two-phase flows.
