MOBILE MODULE-TYPE ADSORBER Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B01D53/04

Abstract RU 2752720 C1

FIELD: treatment of gas.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for adsorption treatment of gases from impurities, particularly hydrocarbon gases from hydrogen sulphide, water and other components, and can be used in oil refining, gas processing, chemical and other branches of industry. The adsorber-heat exchanger for treatment of gases with solid sorbents includes a container comprising pipes filled with sorbent, wherein the treated gas is passed through said pipes, and has an insulated interpipe space for the cooling agent, the outer walls of the adsorber are made in form of a standard sea container for convenient transportation and quick connection at the site of operation, the adsorber has two flanges from the ends for the inlet and outlet of the treated gas and the heat carrier gas. The pipes in the lower part of the adsorber are connected in pairs by U-shaped or rectangular crossbars in the direction of gas flow for sequential transfer of gas. In the upper part of the adsorber, two rows of pipes in the direction of gas flow are combined together into a unified isolated space bounded by walls in the direction of gas flow for the passage of gas through said space from one row of paired pipes to the next one. The unified isolated space bounded by walls has a removable cover on the upper wall for loading and unloading the sorbent. The cover is located inside the unified isolated space and abuts from the inside against the edges of the wall with a hole, and when the pressure inside the unified isolated space is increased, the gas presses the cover more tightly to the edges of the hole.

EFFECT: invention ensures creation of mobile adsorber-heat exchangers with large capacity, allowing to regenerate the adsorbent without extraction, capable of being promptly delivered by freight, railway and sea transport to any point on the planet and assembled on site in a matter of days.
