FIELD: water purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses for purification of both natural and waste water and can find an application in treatment of drinking water and purification of waste water of various origins. Clarifiers for water purification consist of a body, a flotation chamber unit or none thereof, a source water supply pipeline, a bottom with a unit for water distribution in a suspended layer chamber, a base separating the suspended layer chamber from the thin-layer sedimentation chamber or separate bodies of the suspended layer chamber and the thin-layer sedimentation chambers, rectangular flow dividers and thin-layer horizontal or vertical modules of the thin-layer sedimentation chambers, a unit for collection and removal of clarified water, a unit for sediment discharge from the thin-layer sedimentation chambers, an electromagnetic treatment system located on the source water supply pipeline or the pipeline for water supply from the suspended layer chamber to the thin-layer sedimentation chambers, wherein the chambers are structurally separated either by the base in a common body or spaced apart into separate bodies in order to eliminate the mutual influence of chamber operation, and are equipped with an electromagnetic treatment system in order to increase the effects of flake coarsening and disinfection.
