FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochemical, electrocoagulation purification of water from natural underground and surface water sources with a predominantly high concentration of mineral and organic pollutants and pathogenic microflora, both of natural and technical origin, due to the discharge of untreated wastewater into reservoirs and the precipitation of toxic substances with atmospheric precipitation in conditions of non-alternative use of existing water sources with a high content of pollutants. The electrocoagulation treatment unit for drinking and wastewater contains four-section galvanic/induction heat and electrocoagulation treatment units with soluble electrodes of metals of different valence installed in them, a reagent dosing unit, a flotation treatment unit, a suspended layer chamber, a thin-layer sedimentation chamber with thin-layer modules and a power source. An electromagnetic coil with an operating frequency of 25-135 kHz is installed in the common internal space of the four-section galvanic/induction heat treatment units and the electrocoagulation treatment unit. Four-section galvanic/induction heat treatment units form two stages of four sections each, and in each section of the galvanic/induction treatment unit, the potential is 0.5-0.9 V.
EFFECT: improvement of the physico-chemical and organoleptic properties of water after treatment.
