FIELD: smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: aerosol delivery device and a control case for an aerosol delivery device are proposed. The aerosol delivery device contains at least one casing, a sprayer, and a control component made with the possibility of operating in active mode, in which the control component is made with the possibility to control the sprayer to form an aerosol from the aerosol precursor composition. The humidity sensor is made with the possibility to measure its property, which varies depending on the relative humidity in the environment surrounding the aerosol delivery device, and to generate a corresponding signal indicating the value of the specified property, by which it is possible to calculate the relative humidity. The environment surrounding the aerosol delivery device includes the mouth of the user of the aerosol delivery device. The control component or humidity sensor is also made with the possibility to calculate the relative humidity based on the value indicated by the corresponding signal, and control the operation of at least one functional element of the aerosol delivery device based on the relative humidity calculated in this way, ensuring the change in the particle size of the specified aerosol produced based on the relative humidity in the environment.

EFFECT: invention make it possible, based on the measured humidity inside the user’s mouth, to produce an aerosol with a specific particle size that correlates with the humidity profile for a particular user for optimal puff.
