SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to a method for producing the trilithium salt of phospho-ascorbic acid with the general formula Li3C6H6O9P, which consists in adding dioxane and 2.2-dimethoxypropane to ascorbic acid, washing with petroleum ether, phosphorylating with phosphorus chloroxide with the addition of pyridine, adding phosphorus chloroxide, stirring, adding water and cationite to pH 1-2, filtering the resulting solution, adding magnesium oxide to pH 8, stir, filter, evaporate under vacuum, then adding ethyl alcohol, the precipitate is filtered, washed with alcohol and dried in air, then it is dissolved in water, cationite is added to pH 1, filtered, a 1M solution of lithium hydroxide is added in water to pH 7, water is evaporated, then ethyl alcohol is added to the residue, the precipitate is filtered and dried in air to obtain a powder of the trilithium salt of phospho-ascorbic acid.
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a new radiosensitizing agent. The resulting compound has radiosensitizing activity and can be used for radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer.
