FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceutics, namely, to a method for producing a peptide hydrolysate of collagen from horns. The skin and hair are separated from the horns, after which the obtained raw materials of the horns are crushed to fractions of raw materials with a size of 12 to 15 mm, water is added and the mixture is heated at a temperature of 125-135°C for 24-60 hours. The resulting solution is filtred and enzymatic hydrolysis and reaction discoloration of the obtained material is performed in a solution with the addition of activated carbon for 3-8 hours at a temperature of 50-55°C, after which the resulting hydrolysate is filtered.
EFFECT: technical result is improving the quality of the resulting products with a more complete extraction of the peptide hydrolysate from the raw material.
