FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and a method for producing a gel composite material. The system is comprised of an impregnation platform containing a work table; and a movable impregnation mechanism comprising: a fixing base configured to move back and forth along the impregnation platform. The system comprises a first unwinding apparatus, an impregnation apparatus, a second unwinding apparatus, a third unwinding apparatus, a first winding apparatus and a second winding apparatus, located on the fixing base. The first unwinding apparatus is configured to unwind the reinforcing element subject to impregnation to lay the reinforcing element subject to impregnation on the work table. The impregnation apparatus is configured to supply a pre-prepared sol to the reinforcing subject to impregnation laid on the impregnation platform. The second unwinding apparatus is configured to apply a covering substrate to the upper surface of the reinforcing element after impregnation. The third unwinding apparatus is configured to unwind the separating substrate onto the lower surface of the reinforcing element provided with gel on the side of the lower surface of the reinforcing element. The first winding apparatus is configured to wind the covering substrate applied to the reinforcing element provided with gel. The second winding apparatus is configured to wind the reinforcing element provided with a gel and covered with the separating substrate on one side.

EFFECT: system for producing a gel composite material and the method for producing using the system for producing a gel composite material are characterised by a high degree of automation and can significantly increase manufacturing efficiency while reducing manufacturing costs.
