FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for converting electrical energy into thermal energy and can be used for induction heating of liquids. The electric steam generator contains multiphase electric transformers with magnetic cores made of stacked metal cores. The primary windings are located on the racks of the magnetic cores. The common tubular secondary winding is located in a magnetic field in isolation, it covers all the racks of the magnetic cores of the transformers and has means for supplying liquid through the inner cavity of the common secondary tubular winding. An additional polyphase electrical transformer with a magnetic core has tertiary windings on the racks with the ability to convert reactive power released by transformers with primary windings. The common tubular secondary winding includes, among other things, the posts of the magnetic circuit of the additional transformer. A heating element is connected to the terminals of the tertiary winding.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of the electric steam generator.
