SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of cylindrical shells, on the outer and inner surfaces of which a grid of diamond-shaped riffles is applied. The device for obtaining diamond-shaped riffles on the outer and inner surfaces of the cylindrical shell contains the lower and upper plates, bearings, a matrix holder, a matrix having a given number of wedge-shaped spiral projections with a lifting angle of no more than 45°С. At the same time, racks installed on the lower plate, an intermediate plate with the possibility of height adjustment, fixed on the racks, are additionally introduced. A matrix with a matrix holder is fixed on the intermediate plate. On the lower plate there are pushers with an ejector and a tool rod with a working mandrel with wedge-shaped spiral protrusions with a lifting angle of no more than 45°С is fixed. The working surface of the mandrel is located inside the working cavity of the matrix. On the upper plate, the upper pusher is mounted on the bearings.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simultaneously apply diamond-shaped riffles on the outer and inner surfaces of the cylindrical shell.
