FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for designing and/or controlling and/or simulating the operation of a construction machine, in particular in the form of a crane, such as a tower swing crane using a building data model, which contains digital information about a building to be constructed and/or processed. The essence of the invention is that it is proposed to combine a machine data model, which contains information about different models of construction machines, with a building data model and take into account the characteristics of available construction machines already when designing, configuring a simulator for training the performance of construction machine tasks and matching a control unit of the construction machine to a building data model relatively to the specified control functions.
EFFECT: providing a possibility of precise integration of construction machines and their operation into the building data model.
