SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, psychiatry, neurophysiology, neuropsychology. An impact is realised using a visualisation tool. Internal images of closed spaces with different ratios of the areas of the internal surfaces thereof to the areas of minimal imaginary spheres inscribed in said spaces are therein displayed in the form of sequentially alternating frames, on the condition that an image of one space has a predetermined ratio, less for a person than the ratio of the area of the free surface of the hemispheres of the large brain, considering the convolutions and sulci, to the area of the minimal imaginary sphere described around the hemispheres. A session therein is conducted in two phases. In the first phase, the dimensions of geometric shapes defining the shapes of the closed space are changed in the direction of increase in the ratio of the areas of the internal surfaces thereof to the areas of minimal imaginary spheres inscribed in said figures. The dimensions are then changed in the opposite direction in the second phase. The time of the second phase of exposure constitutes 18 to 30% of the first phase with a total duration of one session of 5 to 25 minutes.

EFFECT: provides a possibility of increasing the effectiveness of psychophysiological correction of the psychological state of a person.
