FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for methanol synthesis from hydrocarbon raw materials, including the following stages: transformation of the specified hydrocarbon raw materials, production of synthesis gas; compression of the specified synthesis gas to ensure the pressure used for synthesis; introduction of the specified synthesis gas into the reaction at the specified pressure used for synthesis, production of crude methanol; separation of the specified crude methanol, production of a liquid stream containing methanol and unreacted synthesis gas; treatment of at least part of the specified unreacted synthesis gas at the hydrogen extraction stage. The synthesis gas obtained at the stage of transformation of the specified hydrocarbon raw materials contains carbon oxides and hydrogen at a stoichiometric molar ratio (H2-CO2)/(CO+CO2) of less than 1.7. Before carrying out the specified stage of conducting the reaction, the specified value of the stoichiometric molar ratio (H2-CO2)/(CO+CO2) is increased to at least 1.9 by mixing the synthesis gas with the hydrogen-containing stream obtained at the specified stage of hydrogen extraction, and the specified part of the unreacted synthesis gas processed at the specified stage of hydrogen extraction is at least 50 vol. % of the total amount of unreacted synthesis gas obtained at the specified separation stage.

EFFECT: proposed method allows one to obtain the target product using a simple scheme of the synthesis circuit.
