FIELD: mining engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to the mechanized extraction of coal from sloping seams, and can be used in the development of limited reserves of a coal seam left, for example, in the marginal zones of a dredging field or safety pillars. The method for developing a sloping coal seam includes the following operations: conducting seam workings that prepare the dredging column, fixing them with an anchor support, working out the column in reverse order with diagonal approaches, controlling the rock pressure by the collapse of the roof and transporting the broken coal along the preparatory workings by a self-propelled wagon. When preparing the dredging column, the temporary fastening of the work-out ceiling is carried out by a set of walking supports with support beams installed parallel to the axis of the work-out being carried out, and guides installed on its racks. The construction of the anchor support is carried out in the space between the support beams and thereby the trajectory of the reverse course of the set of walking support is planned. When working out the column in reverse, the set of walking supports is moved along the intended trajectory, in the developed space of the diagonal approach, the ceiling is temporarily fixed with an additional set of walking supports, and the working spaces of the sets of walking supports are combined by removing the corresponding guides of adjacent sets.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and safety of the development of a sloping coal seam by reducing the volume of preparatory workings and the use of walking-type support sets.
