FIELD: computing.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a hardware and software complex for the study of electronic systems of vehicles. The hardware and software complex is connected to the electronic system of the vehicle. The complex consists of a PC, diagnostic equipment, an interface module and an event recorder unit. The interface module is connected through the first input to the electronic system of the vehicle via the OBD-II interface, through the second input it is connected to the diagnostic equipment, and through the third input it is connected to the PC via a USB connection.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain and interpret relevant information in terms of criminalistics from the electronic engine control unit (ECU) of vehicles.
