SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The flywheel contains a hub assembly (1), a flywheel ring (4) that surrounds the hub assembly (1) from the outside along the perimeter at a distance from it, a support device (3) for holding the flywheel ring (4) on the hub assembly (1). The vibration damping device (6, 8) contains an inertial damping device (8) fixed to the flywheel ring (4) and/or to the support device (3) by means of a mounting device (6). The mounting device (6) provides the possibility of axial mobility of the inertial damping device (8) relative to the flywheel ring (4). The inertial damping device contains a set of inertial damping elements (8), which are distributed along the perimeter at a distance from each other and are held by means of a fastening device (6).
EFFECT: reduction in undesirable resonant vibrations is achieved.
