SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to determining the correctness of use by a user of an oral hygiene device. Method and device for its implementation are proposed. Method for determining correctness of device user usage includes stages, on which information is received on movement of the oral hygiene device from at least one accelerometer located in the oral hygiene device, comparing the received movement information with the target movement of the oral hygiene device, providing the user with the oral hygiene maintenance device with feedback in response to the determination, that received information on movement is in specified range of threshold values of target movement, provided to user, operating device for oral hygiene, instructions for changing movement of the oral hygiene device such that additional information on movement obtained from said at least one accelerometer, is in a predetermined range of threshold values of target motion of the oral hygiene device. Oral hygiene device configured to determine the cleaning quality by the user comprises a body comprising a drive mechanism unit, an attached unit, memory, at least one accelerometer, at least one processor and realizes a method of determining correctness of use by a device user. User device for providing information to a user operating an oral hygiene device relating to the quality of its cleaning motion comprises a display screen, communication circuit, memory and at least one processor and implements a method of determining correctness of use by a device user.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher effectiveness of cleaning oral cavity.
