FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to the creation of composite materials by impregnating a porous frame. A method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite workpiece in a copper electrolyte solution. The workpiece is coated with a two-layer electroplated coating including an inner copper layer. The impregnation chamber is impregnated with antimony matrix alloy melt under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the lead melt in the pressure chamber when heated to 100°С above the liquidus temperature of the matrix alloy simultaneously with the lead melt. The outer layer of the electroplated coating is made of a tin-bismuth layer consisting of 99 wt.% tin and 1 wt.% bismuth applied by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 35 g/l tin sulfate, 1.5 g/l bismuth sulfate, 170–180 g/l sulfuric acid, 5–6 ml/l formalin.
