SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of sanitary and technical devices. The drain valve contains a drain body having an inlet hole and a connection for the drain pipe, a flange surrounding the inlet hole, having a connecting surface designed to be located in the edge zone of the drain hole of a bath or shower tray, and a plug that is connected to the flange and/or drain body with the possibility of a connector and, when mounted, closes the inlet hole, limiting the inlet gap. The flange has a horizontal external dimension that is larger than the unidirectional horizontal external dimension of the plug relative to the external dimension of the flange. The flange is made with the possibility of hermetically connecting to the lower side of the bath or shower tray without a connecting mating element adjacent to the upper side of the bottom of the bath or shower tray. The above-described drain valve is used in combination with a bath or shower tray. The bath or shower tray has a drain hole in its bottom. The marginal zone of the bottom passing from the drain hole is mainly flat and/or has no envelope embossing. The drain valve is connected to the lower side of the bath or shower tray without a connecting mating element adjacent to the upper side of the bottom of the bath or shower tray.
EFFECT: drain valve is provided, which in particular would significantly expand the possibilities of the design of shower trays made of enameled steel.
