FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a building material, such as a facing panel. The building material contains base material that has a surface with an artistic design on its surface; coating made on the surface with the artistic design, which has a surface having a degree of mirror gloss equal to 80 or more when measured at an angle of 60°; and a protective sheet attached to coating with the possibility of its detachment, wherein coating has hardness on a pencil scale of HB or higher, and an adhesive force between coating and the protective sheet is from 2 to 8 N/20 mm.

EFFECT: creation of the building material designed to solve the problem of detachment, folding and displacement of the protective sheet from coating during storage, transportation and installation and designed to solve the problem of deterioration of the surface finish of coating as a result of detachment of the protective sheet from the surface of coating of the building material.
