SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to predict a high risk of autoimmune inflammation in post-traumatic uveitis in the long term. The level of transforming growth factor TGF-B1 is determined in the moisture of the anterior chamber of the injured eye and in the blood serum. If its level is below 1000 pkg/ml in the moisture of the anterior chamber and above 30,000 pkg/ml in the blood serum, a high risk of autoimmune inflammation is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides a choice of treatment tactics that prevent the development of sympathetic ophthalmia by determining the level of transforming growth factor TGF-B1 in the moisture of the anterior chamber of the injured eye and in the blood serum.
