FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: eye anterior segment and contents removal and neurotomy are performed, notches are made in the intermuscular spaces of the anterior sclera. The inner surface of the sclera is cleaned from the remaining scar adhesions and inflammation membranes, and a 1 mm thick layer of the sclera inner surface is removed using high-frequency radio wave exposure with frequency of 3.8-4.0 MHz, power of 21-25 W by sliding movements until the emissaries appear. An electrode in the form of a conical needle is injected along the vessels and exposure takes place in the coagulation mode. Prior to stump plastics the sclera is mobilized to cover the implant by application of multiple notches in the posterior pole of the eye to expand sclera holes in the posterior pole of the eye. Radiowave exposure to clean the inner surface of the sclera from the remaining scar adhesions and inflammation membranes with excision of the inner surface layer of the sclera can be performed by a loop-shaped electrode.

EFFECT: complete removal of eyeball inner shells with a thin layer of the inner surface of the sclera with the prevention of the possibility of sympathetic inflammation in the fellow eye and creation of conditions for optimal covering of the orbital implant front surface.
