SUBSTANCE: method contains the following steps: display, on a round display of a device, a screen of a graphical user interface is displayed, wherein the screen contains the first graphic element centered around the center of the round display; user input containing the rotation of a device element capable of rotation is accepted, while the element capable of rotation surrounds the round display of the device, and the rotation of the element capable of rotation is detected by a device detector; it is determined, whether the rotation of the element capable of rotation has acceleration that exceeds a threshold value; if acceleration is less than or equal to the threshold value, a transition is made from the first graphic element to the second graphic element; if acceleration exceeds the threshold value, the first graphic element is reduced in size and scrolled through a set of reduced-sized graphic elements on the round display.
