FIELD: water treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bioreactor for water purification. The bioreactor is comprised of a container with at least one bioreactor compartment (1a-1c) containing a carrier medium on the surface whereof a biofilm can grow, tools for supplying water to the compartment (1a-1c) from a first longitudinal end of the compartment, drainage tools located on a second opposite longitudinal end of the compartment (1a-1c) for draining the treated water from the compartment (1a-1c), pipeline tools (7, 17) for supplying the reaction gas into the compartment, pipeline tools (7) located on the side surface of the tank, next to the outer wall (9), for mixing the carrier medium and the purified water by rotational movement inside the compartment. A perforated pipe (4) is located in the compartment (1a-1c), extending in the longitudinal direction thereof, at a distance from the inner walls (8, 9) of the compartment. The perforated pipe (4) is installed through the tank (1) so that the front and rear ends thereof are open by the wall of the tank or outside of the tank. A closing disk (13a-13c) is located inside the pipe (4) at the point before which water is supposed to go through the perforation holes in the direction of flow from the inner part of the pipe to the outer part of the pipe, and a guiding plate (2a- 2c) is located outside of the pipe (4). The guiding plate extends from the outer surface of the pipe (4) at a distance from the inner walls (8, 9) of the compartment, forming a flow hole (14), to guide the water subject to purification through the flow hole (14) into the space of the bioreactor outside of the pipe (4), from which the purified water can enter the pipe through the holes in the perforated pipe (4) and exit said pipe through the outlet hole at the outlet end of the compartment (1a-1c).

EFFECT: removal of ammonia and nitrogen by a biological method using suitable bacteria to convert water into a suitable habitat for fish.
