FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biochemistry. Disclosed is a bioreactor and a method of operating said bioreactor. Bioreactor comprises support structure and including blade wheel and single motor mixing device system. Support structure is configured to retain and operate containers of different structures by providing adjustment of engine position. Method of operation includes selection of the bioreactor bag from the bags of the upper or lower installation of the mixing device, selection between the position of the upper or lower installation of the motor of the mixing device, placement of the selected bag in the support structure and its connection to the motor of the mixing device.
EFFECT: invention enables to use containers with different configurations, while ensuring standards of mass exchange coefficient and production of culture.
