SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for post-harvest processing for protecting the harvested crop from post-harvest decomposition caused by a plant pathogen, for preventing or reducing post-harvest decomposition of the harvested crop caused by the plant pathogen, or for combating the plant pathogen on the harvested crop, including applying an isolated culture, fungal spores or a preparation of the J1446 Clonostachys rosea f. catenulata strain to the harvested crop in an amount effective for protecting the harvested crop from post-harvest decomposition caused by the plant pathogen, for reducing post-harvest decomposition caused by the plant pathogen, or for increasing the post-harvest storage life of the stored harvested crop compared to an unprocessed control, where post-harvest decomposition of the harvested crop is caused by Penicillium spp., Rhizopus spp. or Monilinia spp. or combinations thereof and where the specified harvested crop is stone fruits or citrus fruits.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the post-harvest storage life of the harvested crop.
