SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus (1) and a method for producing nanofibres (5), in particular, nanocellulose (6), from a mixture of substances (2) with fibres (3, 4), wherefor an apparatus (1) is created, including at least one unloading element (11) with an unloading hole (12) for the passage of the mixture of substances (2) with fibres; at least one supplying apparatus (19) for supplying the mixture of substances (2) with fibres to the unloading element (11) with a predetermined working pressure (15); at least one positioning apparatus (18) for positioning the unloading element (11) and thus for disintegration of the mixture of substances (2) with fibres; a movable processing unit (7) opposite to at least one unloading element (11), resulting in formation of a slot-like processing area (16) between the unloading element (11) and part of the surface of the movable processing unit (7) affected by the mixture of substances (10) when the mixture of substances (2) with fibres (3) passes through the unloading element (11).
EFFECT: production of nanocellulose.
