FIELD: cellulose production.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing nanocellulose. Disclosed method involves treating cellulose with a complex of copper ions with ethylenediamine in an aqueous solution, dispersing and washing with water. Cellulose treatment with said reagent is carried out under conditions of its complete dissolution, after dissolution of cellulose, the solution is diluted with water during dispersion to such concentration of a copper-ethylenediamine complex, at which cellulose is insoluble, then the mixture is acidified to destruction of the copper-ethylenediamine complex, and the nanocellulose precipitated in the form of weak aggregates – flakes is washed on the filter with water.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency, as well as simplifies and reduces the cost of equipment used in the method.
