SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing articles by hot pressing. The pressing apparatus (100) is comprised of a high-pressure chamber (2) with a high-pressure cylinder (1), an upper (3) and a lower (9) end covers, a furnace chamber (18) for heating the medium under pressure, multiple guiding channels (10, 11, 13), loading compartment (19), and at least one flow generator (30, 32). The flow generator provides circulation of the medium under pressure in a high-pressure tank. Additionally, a heat exchange element (170) located in the upper or lower end cover is provided. The heat exchange element has at least one channel for providing a flow of the medium under pressure through the heat exchange element and at least one circuit for circulation of a cooling medium providing cooling of the medium under pressure intended to flow through the heat exchange element.

EFFECT: increase in the cooling rate of articles subjected to processing by pressing to a required temperature during the cooling phase of the processing cycle is provided as a result.
