FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pressure processing and can be used for hot pressing, in particular, hot isostatic pressing. Press assembly (100) comprises high pressure reservoir (2) with furnace chamber (18). Furnace chamber (18) has loading compartment (19) through which working medium flows. In the internal convection circuit, the working medium under pressure is directed through loading compartment (19) and at least one guide channel (12) for the working medium under pressure of furnace chamber (18) back into loading compartment (19) or vice versa. Reservoir (2) comprises at least one controlled throttle (15) configured to selectively trap or block flow of working medium under pressure in at least a portion of at least one guide channel (12).
EFFECT: simplified control of press unit operation on the basis of current phase of processing cycle.
