FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials used in road, airfield and civil construction, namely to a polymer-bitumen binder for road and airfield pavement, which can be used for the production of organic-mineral mixtures, in particular asphalt concrete. Polymer-bitumen binder contains bitumen, a polymer of thermoplastic elastomer class - a block copolymer of butadiene and styrene (CBS) in an amount of 3.15-3.5 wt.%, a plasticizer, as which Uniplast is used in an amount of 1.5 wt.%, and a fine-disperse additive, as which shungite is used in an amount of 3-5 wt.%, where bitumen is the rest.
EFFECT: increase in the homogeneity of the binder structure, improvement of its adhesion to mineral materials, cohesion, increase in the softening temperature, extensibility at 25 and 0°C and elasticity, which ultimately improves physical and mechanical properties of polymer asphalt concrete such as compressive strength at 20 and 50°C, shear adhesion, crack resistance at low temperatures.
