SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for generating an image of the intensity of light radiation. A method for generating an image includes receiving the first and second texture maps and grids; an image of the intensity of light radiation for the third observation point is generated; for the first position, this includes determining the first and second values of the intensity of light radiation for the first position by converting the observation point based on the first texture map and the first grid and based on the second texture map and the second grid, respectively; a value of the intensity of light radiation is determined; weighting depends on depth gradient in the first grid in the first grid position corresponding to the first position relatively to depth gradient in the second grid in the second grid position corresponding to the first position.

EFFECT: technical result is an improvement of the generation of the image of the intensity of light radiation for the given observation point based on texture maps and grids from other observation points.
