Method includes: restoring a first decoded image depth, representing a first view; obtaining a first texture block from a first image texture, representing a first view; obtaining from said first decoded image depth information on range, associated with said first texture block; determining disparity information with respect to reference image in a second view based on said information on range and obtaining reference samples of said second view using prediction based on synthesis of views on basis of said disparity information to obtain a reference block for encoding said first texture block and/or decoding said first texture block.
EFFECT: simplified block prediction based on synthesis views inside video processing cycle.
