FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and relates to a hot stamping method. The method includes the steps of: providing a carbon steel sheet coated with a barrier pre-coating containing nickel and chromium, where the Ni/Cr mass ratio is between 1.5 and 9, cutting the coated carbon steel sheet to obtain a billet, heat treating the billet in an atmosphere having an oxidizing a potential equal to or greater than the potential of an atmosphere containing 1% oxygen by volume, and equal to or less than the potential of an atmosphere containing 50% oxygen by volume, said atmosphere having a dew point between -30 and +30°C, moving the workpiece into a press die, hot stamping the workpiece to obtain a part, cooling the part obtained on stage E), in order to obtain a microstructure in steel, which is martensitic, or martensitic-bainitic, or composed of at least 75 wt.% equiaxial ferrite, from 5 to 20 wt.% martensite and bainite in an amount less than or equal to 10 wt.%.
EFFECT: invention provides a hot stamping method in which adsorption of hydrogen in a carbon steel sheet is prevented, and provides a part having excellent delayed cracking resistance obtained by the said press hardening method including hot stamping.
