SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining hexafluorobutadiene, including the stage of exposing the initial material composition containing hexafluorobutadiene and at least one additional compound selected from the group consisting of octafluoro-1-butene, octafluoro-2-butene, heptafluoro-1-butene and heptafluoro-2-butene, to an extractive distillation method in the presence of an extracting solvent to reduce the concentration of the additional compound, wherein the extracting solvent has a relative volatility in the range of 1.10 to 2.00. The invention also relates to a method for separating hexafluorobutadiene and a composition.
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to synthesise hexafluorobutadiene exhibiting high purity.
