FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering; it can be used in the field of riveting for filling rivet cassette (2) with rivet elements (3). Rivet loading station (1) is used, which has rivet supply unit (4) for providing rivet elements (3) and holder (5) for receiving rivet cassette (2). Rivet elements (3) are brought from rivet supply unit (4) to rivet cassette (2) located in holder (5) and are placed in it in an oriented way. At least part of transportation from rivet supply unit (4) to rivet cassette (2) is carried out in a robotic way. Rivet loading station (1) is controlled by means of a sensor system. A type of rivet element (3) provided by rivet supply unit (4) is registered, and it is controlled, whether the registered type is a set type for filling rivet cassette (2).
EFFECT: filling the cassette with various rivet elements is provided.
