SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to systems intended for removing nitrogen oxides from gas. In the claim, a method for removing NOx oxides from gas stream is described, including stages of: passing gas stream through a catalyst layer that removes NOx using zeolite as catalyst subjected to ion exchange with iron and adding ammonia as restorative reagent, where a ratio of number of NH3 moles to number of NOx moles is more than 1.33.
EFFECT: invention allows for reducing NOx amount in gas.
