FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: radio access network (RAN) node sends a request message for path switching to an access and mobility management function (AMF) to inform that a user equipment (UE) has moved to a target cell served by the RAN node, wherein the request message for path switching includes a list of packet data unit (PDU) sessions to be switched, and a list of received quality of service (QoS) streams for the PDU session in the list of PDU sessions to be switched; and the RAN node receives from the AMF the confirmation associated with the request message for path switching.
EFFECT: improvement of the management of the communication network session.
