FIELD: material processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of materials by cutting and can be used when processing holes with prefabricated drill bits. The drill bit contains a housing in the socket of which a cutting plate is fixed, on the tangential support surfaces of which protrusions are made with some mounting surfaces located at an angle to the lower support surface of the cutting plate, and others located so that they protrude beyond the lower support surface of the cutting plate and are parallel to the corresponding tangential support surface. A groove is made in the housing from the end surface along the axis of symmetry, the walls of which are perpendicular to the lower support wall and the tangential support walls of the socket. In the parts of the housing separated by chip grooves, mounting walls are made for interaction with the mentioned mounting surfaces of the cutting plate and samples located on the side of the tangential support walls and covering the outlets to the end surface of the holes for the supply of lubricoolant.

EFFECT: centering of the cutting plate in the housing socket is improved, the reliability of its fastening without the use of fixing screws is increased.
