METHOD FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING OF ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE ELEMENTS OF CABLE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01R31/58

Abstract RU 2755605 C1

FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used for operational control of the technical condition of electrically conductive elements of an electric cable or wire. Substance: the controlled section of the cable and the reference section of the cable are impacted perpendicular to the longitudinal axes thereof by a directed alternating electric field when the sections are located in a common environment from a single alternating voltage source by means of spaced apart corresponding double-electrode cylindrical feedthrough capacitors with lumped capacitance with identical design parameters, exciting a wave physical process of polarisation of spin magnetic moments of free electrons at the resonant frequency in the electrically conductive elements of the cables. Induction EMF signals are formed by means of spaced apart working and additional induction sensors in form of feedthrough inductance coils, identical in design parameters. The real and imaginary components of the control and reference signals are measured by means of sets of corresponding identical synchronous and quadrature detectors synchronised by the frequency of the alternating electric field. The normalised difference values are determined between the real components and between the imaginary components of the reference and control signals. Prestart control of the physical and technical condition of the electrically conductive elements of the controlled cable is conducted according to the values of the normalised difference values.

EFFECT: simplification of the control procedure and reduction of labour intensity thereof.
