FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for early assessment of dairy productivity of cows, including sampling of venous blood in an amount of at least 6 ml from the tail vein of cows 30-50 days after calving, further isolation of serum by centrifugation for 10 minutes at a speed of 1000 g, assessment of the concentration of manganese and revealing the redistribution of manganese over various protein fractions by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry with high performance liquid chromatography, when the concentration of manganese in the blood serum is below 0.0016 mcg/ml and the total content of manganese forms is below 0.00095 mcg/ml, the animal is classified as a group with potentially high dairy productivity, when the concentration of manganese in the blood serum is above 0.0016 mcg/ml and the total content is manganese forms above 0.00095 mcg/ml - correspondingly to the group with potentially low dairy productivity.
EFFECT: invention allows assessing dairy productivity at an early age based on the analysis of the spectrum of metal-ligand forms of manganese in the blood serum of cows.
