FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to the arrangement of stators of electrical machines. The stator of an electric machine contains a magnetic circuit with open rectangular slots. A winding is located in the grooves, the grooves of which are separated by a layer of refractory paste, an insulation layer and an air gap. The insulation layer is located in series on both sides of the refractory paste and is resistant to the influence of the refrigerant. The air gap is made with the possibility of refrigerant flow through it. The open rectangular groove of the stator can be made with a protrusion in the center or a stepped shape with the possibility of introducing a layer of refractory paste.

EFFECT: invention increases the fault tolerance of the electric machine due to the use of the stator design, in which, when the temperature rises above the permissible limits, the creation of a new heat-insulating layer is provided, provides the possibility of fire extinguishing and minimization of heat generation in the stator winding.
