FIELD: protective equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for active protection of an object from the upper hemisphere. For active protection of the object, an air intruder is detected by means of detection, an analysis of the degree of threat to the protected object is performed, target designation is issued to the means of destruction, detected intruder is hit with the help of a guided multi-barrel launch container with means of destruction launched in a certain way.
EFFECT: increase of the efficiency of round-the-clock protection from the upper hemisphere of objects of both military and civilian purposes from multiple inconspicuous small-sized violating air objects.
