FIELD: fire prevention.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and system for storing files in a fire-prevention system. In the method, available memory in led nodes of the fire-prevention system is determined by a leading module of the fire-prevention system; a command is given by the leading module to led nodes to save new files in available memory and files stored in led nodes are read by the leading module, in which available memory in led nodes is memory that is not used by led nodes and that is intended by the leading module as available in file metadata, wherein the leading module uses available memory in led nodes as a distributed file system.
EFFECT: optimization in the file storage.
