FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by detecting whether a new slave unit has been installed and the firmware version comparison in the newly installed slave node, with version of firmware of previously installed slave units of the same type. If the newly installed slave node firmware is later, any backup copies of the embedded software stored by the master module, are replaced with image of new version of firmware. In addition, slave units with older versions of firmware are updated to the newest version.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling update of software version of newly installed slave units and simultaneously operating in one fire protection system.
